Shown is Brycen Gran’s unproduced design for David Auburn’s Proof. The design concept was to create an abstract rendition inspired by Robert’s cluttered and deteriorating state of mind. As to focus on Catherine’s concern of following in her father’s footsteps, and the weight it has on her as the play's story progresses.

The design allows for access to the stage via the ramp and a disguised sliding door on stage right. As well as two upper platforms on both sides of the stage, that are hidden by chalk boards that can be flown in and out to reveal them.
